Dr. David Wasswa's academic journey has been guided by a deep curiosity about the human experience and a lifelong commitment to learning. His work explores how culture, philosophy, spirituality, consciousness, and holistic approaches to healing influence the ways individuals and communities understand wellbeing.

His interdisciplinary scholarship brings together philosophy, metaphysics, counselling, cultural anthropology, psychology, comparative religion, and Indigenous knowledge systems. Through books, research, conference participation, and public engagement, he seeks to build bridges between cultures and contribute to a compassionate understanding of health, spirituality, and human flourishing.

Participation in international scholarly conferences provides opportunities to exchange ideas, learn from colleagues, and contribute to discussions in philosophy, metaphysics, consciousness studies, and holistic wellbeing.

In March 2026, Dr. David Wasswa attended the Annual Meeting of the Metaphysical Society of America at Yale University, New Haven, Connecticut, USA. The conference brought together scholars from diverse academic backgrounds to explore the theme, Metaphysics and the Authority of Intelligence. The visit also provided an opportunity to experience Yale's historic academic environment, including the Humanities Quadrangle and the Beinecke Rare Book and Manuscript Library.
